The 14th International Conference on Future Internet Technologies

Submission deadline extended to May 17, 2019

     We are very excited to announce that CFI 2019 will be a joint conference with AINTEC during August 7-9, 2019 in Phuket, Thailand. The joint conference is intended to enhance the networking research in Asia, through cooperation between the CFI and AINTEC communities. The paper submissions will be peer-reviewed by the separate TPC teams for CFI and AINTEC, but the joint conference will be a single program intermixing CFI and AINTEC sessions. The conference proceedings will be published by the ACM Digital Library.


Contributions are solicited in all areas of research related to the Future Internet and applications on that network. Topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Internet architectures and algorithms for future Internet
  • Addressing and routing architectures for future Internet
  • Resource management, QoS, and traffic engineering for future Internet
  • Network management and operations for future Internet
  • Network Security, privacy and trust issues in future Internet
  • Economics and Transition aspect of future Internet
  • Programmable testbeds and evaluation Future Internet services
  • SDN, NFV, and network programming
  • Networking hardware (Router/switch/NIC) design
  • Edge, cloud and wide-area networking systems and infrastructure
  • Wireless, mobile, and sensor network protocols and applications
  • Delay- or disruption-tolerant networking and vehicular networking
  • Information- and data-centric networking
  • Internet of things (IoT) and machine-to-machine (M2M) communications
  • Energy-aware networking and green Internet
  • Network data analytics beyond communications
  • Artificial intelligence and machine learning for Internet
  • Other topics related to forward-looking network technologies

Paper Submission

Papers must be unpublished and not considered elsewhere for publication. Only electronic submissions in PDF format will be considered. Submissions should follow the instructions provided on ACM SigConf format at Paper submission should be done at

Regular paper: Regular paper submission should be maximum SIX pages in length (can be extended EIGHT after acceptance).
Short (work in progress) paper: Short paper submission should be maximum FOUR pages in length.

We also invite potential authors to submit poster papers to the CFI/AINTEC Joint Poster session. The objectives are to offer opportunities for researchers to share their early results to a broad range of audience and to have discussion with fellow researchers in the relevant areas. A poster submission should be an extended abstract (maximum TWO pages) and its deadline is June 15, 2019. Please follow the instruction at the AINTEC 2019 site:
